Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate linguistic validation and eCOA projects from start to finish. You will manage multiple localization initiatives, forecast phase delivery, and ensure client expectations are met while adhering to IQVIA SOPs.

Role requires collaboration with Senior Project Managers, vendor selection and negotiation, and effective communication across contract linguists and proof-readers globally. Strong coordination and quality control are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related field.
• Experience in clinical or pharmaceutical translation/localization projects (Linguistic Validation, eCOA).
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing linguistic validation and eCOA projects from start to completion in accordance with IQVIA SOPs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing multiple translation and localization projects at any one time from receipt to completion
• Coordinate all project phases and efficiently predict the delivery of those phases to deliver within the best possible deadline
• Working with the Senior Project Managers to assess the client’s expectations or specifications
• Select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract linguists and proof-readers across multiple locations
• Monitor and control projects status and progress
• Budget and finance management of projects, ensuring all work is completed within assigned budget
• Prepare and maintain project documentation
• Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the project to ensure effectiveness is maintained

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of experience in Linguistics, Translation, Localization, or a related field.
• Experience in clinical or pharmaceutical translation/localization projects: mainly focus on Linguistic Validation, eCOA.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem- solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
• Good teamwork skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work under limited direction
• Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
