Job summary

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. is seeking a Lineman II in Panabo to deliver safe, reliable power by managing overhead, underground, and sub-transmission line tasks within the North Davao area.

You will work with the North Davao Engineering Operations Department to maintain continuous power supply, perform live-line work up to 69kV safely, and operate bucket trucks while developing technical and safety skills in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Electrical or Technical related courses.
• Entry-level (no prior professional experience required).

Responsibilities

• Perform safe installations, removals, and replacements of line hardware and equipment per APDU standards.
• Conduct emergency repairs, troubleshooting, and power restorations on lines, meters, and transformer cut-outs.
• Execute live-line works on energized lines up to 69kV under safe procedures.
• Operate distribution line equipment such as bucket trucks, tensioners, and scanning devices.
• Coordinate planning of resources and ensure compliance with IMS/AMS systems.
