Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Lineman 1 Trainee in Tagum City, Philippines. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in safe line construction, maintenance, and emergency repairs within our North Davao Engineering Operations team.

You will learn to operate bucket trucks and live-line procedures, while aligning with company safety standards and ISO AMS/IMS policies. This position emphasizes growth, hands-on skill development, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical or technical related courses.
• Entry-level position; no prior professional experience required.
• Basic awareness of IMS/AMS and safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe installations, removals, and replacements of line hardware up to 69kV under APDU standards.
• Conduct emergency repairs and power restorations on lines, meters, and transformers.
• Execute splicing and terminations for energized lines with live-line safety.
• Operate distribution line equipment such as bucket trucks and tensioners.
• Support planning of resources and ensure compliance with IMS, AMS, and other systems.
