Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking Lifeguards to ensure swimmer safety at pools, water parks, and beaches. Qualifications

• Ability to swim in various water conditions and temperatures.
• Knowledge of water quality testing and monitoring.
• Understanding of general safety guidelines in and out of water.
• CPR, first aid, and water rescue skills.
• Ability to enforce pool rules and communicate clearly.
• Teamwork with other lifeguards to protect guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of swimmers at various locations.
• Perform rescues and lifesaving first aid when needed.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the swimming areas.
• Enforce rules to ensure guests’ safety and enjoyment.
• Provide first aid and coordinate with medical services when required.

Skills

Ability to swim in several water conditions and temperatures

Knowledge of water quality and how to test water conditions

Ability to perform life-saving procedures, like CPR, injury treatment, and water rescue

Job description

Lifeguards can work at a variety of locations, including recreational swimming pools, water parks, beaches and lakes. They work with other Lifeguards to ensure the safety of swimmers, perform rescues, and in certain situations, perform lifesaving first aid. Their job is to ensure that guests have a fun and safe environment in which to swim and lounge about with family and friends. They may also be responsible for cleaning the area and checking water quality. This is especially important for Pool Lifeguards.
