Job summary

Vicente T. Lao Construction is seeking a licensed Geodetic Engineer to conduct land, topographic, and engineering surveys for infrastructure projects in Davao City.

You will collect and analyze survey data, establish boundaries and control points, prepare reports, and coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to support project implementation. The role requires 1 year of direct surveying experience, strong communication, leadership, and proficiency with Total Station and GPS

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Geodetic Engineer.
• At least 1 year of direct surveying, mapping and research experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including upper management, clients and other departments.
• Expertise in handling surveying tools (Total Station and GPS).

Responsibilities

• Operate surveying instruments.
• Collect, process, and analyze survey data to produce accurate maps and plans.
• Establish and verify property boundaries, control points, and project layouts.
• Prepare survey reports, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors and project teams to support project implementation.
• Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications, standards and regulations.
• Perform field inspections and verify the accuracy of survey measurements.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure reliable data collection.
• Assist in monitoring construction progress through as-built and verification surveys.
