Job summary

Career Connect is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to oversee construction quality, conduct site inspections, and ensure projects are executed per approved plans, specifications, and standards. The role requires frequent site visits and a valid driver's license for travel to project locations.

Field-based position with regular travel to project sites; duties include monitoring progress, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, site engineering, project inspection, or quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Perform quality control inspections and identify defects, non-conformances, and risks.
• Recommend construction methods, engineering solutions, and corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Evaluate workmanship and materials on-site for compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical concerns.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, findings, and recommendations for management.
• Monitor project schedules and provide updates on site progress.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during construction.
• Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
