LICENSE BROKER
Responsbilities
Facilitating Customs Transactions: Assisting clients with required documents for import/export, preparing entry forms, and handling other related paperwork.
Representing Clients: Acting as the client's representative in customs-related transactions, providing advice on customs laws and regulations.
Reviewing and Ensuring Accurate Classifications: Preventing errors in goods classification that could lead to additional costs by reviewing the classification of client's goods.
Paying Duties and Fees: Calculating and paying customs duties and fees on behalf of the client.
Maintaining Records: Keeping records of client documents, transactions, and shipments.
Advising Clients: Providing guidance on import and export laws, regulations, and best practices.
Ensuring Compliance: Monitoring changes in customs regulations and informing clients of necessary adjustments.
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and government bodies.
Proficiency in using customs brokerage software and online portals.
