Job summary

UNDP Philippines, in partnership with GEPP, seeks an LGU and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist – Metro Manila to lead engagement with local government units, GEDSI groups, and partners to drive circular economy initiatives. The role reports to the Deputy Project Manager and collaborates with the PMU to deliver project outputs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Public Administration, Environmental or Development Management, Local Planning or Governance, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years (with master’s degree) or 7 years (with bachelor’s degree) of professional experience with LGUs and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Filipino is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead LGU and stakeholder engagement at the local government level, including GEDSI groups and private sector partners.
• Coordinate with LGUs to ensure project activities align with work plans, regulations (POPP), and donor requirements.
• Oversee monitoring, reporting, and knowledge sharing; maintain stakeholder relationships and communications for project success.
• Represent UNDP project activities at relevant meetings, ensuring timely delivery and collaboration with partners.
