Job summary

Inchcape Digital in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a Level 1 SOC Analyst to help defend our global technology environment. You will work with a collaborative team and gain hands-on exposure to modern security technologies while developing your technical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities include monitoring alerts across SIEM, EDR and email security, performing initial triage, collecting evidence, escalating incidents with clear reporting, and supporting the continuous improvement of threat

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection and monitoring concepts.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and enterprise technologies.
• Ability to follow structured processes and escalate appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, email security, and other security monitoring platforms.
• Perform initial alert triage using established SOC playbooks, runbooks, and operating procedures.
• Collect and document critical investigation data, including indicators of compromise, user and host information, timelines, and supporting evidence.
• Escalate suspected or confirmed security incidents to senior analysts and SOC leadership with clear and accurate reporting.
• Assist in investigations involving phishing, malware, account compromise, and endpoint security incidents under the guidance of experienced analysts.
• Maintain accurate case records, tickets, incident documentation, and contribute to shift handovers and daily SOC operations.
• Participate in shift rotations and support the continuous improvement of threat detection and incident response processes.
