You will verify case details, resolve editing issues, and collaborate with editors and AI-assisted workflows to deliver accurate publications. A Juris Doctor and strong research skills are required, with flexibility for schedule changes and training.

Qualifications

• Jurist Doctor degree (US law knowledge beneficial) and strong legal research abilities.
• Excellent proofreading, reading comprehension, and analytical skills.
• Experience in legal practice or legal publishing preferred.
• Ability to apply a prescribed writing style and follow editing guidelines.
• Willingness to learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret history and treatment relationships between citing and cited legal references.
• Identify and verify case information (names, dates, decisions).
• Apply treatment to cited cases within the document being edited.
• Communicate need to clarify Editing Guidelines to the team.
• Perform SUBLA (subsequent legal analysis) as required.
• Resolve duplicate cases and combined opinions; balance accuracy with deadlines.
