Job description

The Regulatory Compliance (RegComp) Legal Editor is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of new legislations and product improvement. Primary responsibilities include:

  • drafting legislation updates;
  • QA of drafted alerts;
  • uploading of alerts;
  • uploading of new assets;
  • QA of uploaded assets; and
  • clean up and troubleshooting of existing assets.
  • To read and analyze case law, and other legal documents.
  • To generate high-quality editorial content based on own analysis. The content is delivered in English, based on some specifications and standards, and established house-style and quality framework.
  • To generate content while meeting the required productivity, accuracy level, timeliness, and currency deadlines.
  • To perform other duties that may be assigned.

Close interaction with team members in Australia and within REPH is required to carry out the role effectively.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
  • Must have a sound level of computer literacy
  • Must have legal research skills
  • Must have superior reading, legal comprehension and proofreading skills
  • Must have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate project management skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Must have good relationship-building skills
  • Must have a sound commercial awareness
  • Must have advance analytical skills
  • Must be able to work on flexible schedule
  • Must not have any attendance and/or punctuality issues in the past 12 months
  • Must have not received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
