Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support to the Gold Loan business on operational, product, and strategic matters.
• Review and advise on gold loan products, processes, and customer journeys.
• Support business teams on branch operations, loan origination, disbursement, renewals, auction processes, and recovery matters.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Draft, review, standardize, and negotiate Gold Loan Agreements, Pledge Forms, Security Documents, Auction Terms & Conditions, Vendor and Service Agreements, Branch Lease Agreements, Customer Communication Templates.
• Ensure documentation remains legally enforceable and aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Advise business teams on RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs, KYC/AML requirements, customer grievance management, outsourcing guidelines, data privacy and information security requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting the Gold Loan business and drive necessary changes.
• Assess legal implications of new products, processes, and initiatives.
• Review policies, SOPs, and operational manuals from a legal perspective.
• Support risk assessments and internal control reviews.
