Job summary

The Learning Technology Associate at AIM oversees administration, maintenance, and technical support of the Institute's learning technology platforms. You will assist faculty, staff, and students with system access, troubleshooting, and self-service resources to ensure reliable delivery of learning technology services.

Responsibilities include administering platforms, testing updates, documenting issues, and collaborating with ICT and academic units to drive continuous improvement in learning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting learning technology platforms, digital systems, online platforms, helpdesk operations, or related areas.
  • Experience in system administration, technical troubleshooting, user support, or LMS operations is preferred.
  • Experience working in a higher education or learning environment is an advantage.

Description

The Learning Technology Associate is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and technical support of the Institute's learning technology platforms. The role provides operational support to faculty, staff, and students through system administration, troubleshooting, user account management, and technical assistance, and supports the reliable delivery of learning technology services across the Institute, while contributing to the continuous improvement of learning technology services.

Responsibilities
  • A. Learning Technology Administration
    • 1. Administer learning technology platforms, including user accounts, course sites, permissions, and system configurations.
    • 2. Maintain learning technology platform settings, integrations, and system records to support reliable operations.
  • B. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • 3. Provide first-level technical support for learning technology platforms, software access concerns, and system-related issues.
    • 4. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve routine technical issues and elevate complex concerns to ICT, vendors, or appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
  • C. System Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
    • 5. Perform system testing, validate updates, document issues, and support platform enhancement activities.
    • 6. Develop and maintain technical guides, FAQs, and support documentation to improve user self-service and reduce recurring issues.
  • D. Collaboration & Administrative Support
    • 7. Collaborate with ICT, academic units, vendors, and other stakeholders to support learning technology operations and implementation activities.
    • 8. Participate in routine and special projects of Academic Services and Learning Technology Services to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications
A. Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.

B. Experience
  • -At least 2 years of experience supporting learning technology platforms, digital systems, online platforms, helpdesk operations, or related areas.
  • -Experience in system administration, technical troubleshooting, user support, or LMS operations is preferred.
