Job summary

MediaX is seeking a Website UI Designer to own end-to-end website design projects, combining strong UI/UX with branding expertise. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with developers, and mentor a small design team to deliver conversion-focused sites.

The role intersects design, development, and client strategy, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance across digital channels.

Qualifications

3-5 years of professional design experience, including website-focused UI/UX.
Strong portfolio with website and branding case studies.
Advanced expertise in Figma (components, prototyping, designsystems).
Ability to collaborate with developers and oversee front-end execution (Shopify/Webflow preferred).
Experience leading or mentoring junior designers.
Knowledge of branding fundamentals: naming, logo design, brand identity systems.
Understanding of CRO and website performance-oriented design.
Ability to leverage AI tools for design research, wireframing, content adaptation, and creative exploration.
Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for websites (informational & e-commerce/Shopify).
Build wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and design systems in Figma.
Ensure responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-aware design delivery.
Work closely with developers to translate designs into pixel-perfect execution.
Conduct quality control (QC) checks before and after development.
Take ownership of branding projects (naming, logo design, visual identity, collaterals).
Collaborate with clients on brand positioning and translatestrategy into design.
Maintain consistency of brand identity across digital and offline touchpoints.
Conduct UX/CRO audits for existing websites.
Suggest and implement design or flow improvements to improve conversions and engagement.
Work with SEO and marketing teams to balance aesthetics with performance.
Lead and mentor 2-3 designers, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design excellence.
Present and communicate design/branding decisions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
Act as the bridge between design, development, and client requirements.
