Job summary

Wabtec Corporation invites a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen and mature its vulnerability management program across on-premises, cloud, and M&A environments. You will lead discovery, remediation, and reporting while partnering with global teams to reduce risk and improve security posture.

You will support cloud security, security operations, and threat management initiatives, delivering metrics and executive dashboards, and collaborating with infrastructure and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading enterprise vulnerability management programs across servers, endpoints, cloud, applications and network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools, remediation workflows, risk prioritization methodologies, and security exposure management practices.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability scoring frameworks, threat intelligence, exploitability analysis and risk-based remediation approaches.
• Experience developing metrics, reporting and executive dashboards to communicate security risk and remediation progress.
• Hands-on experience securing public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience supporting Security Operations functions including threat detection, incident response, threat hunting or security monitoring.
• Knowledge of enterprise operating systems, networking, system administration and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience partnering with technical and business stakeholders to drive remediation across globally distributed environments.
• Strong project execution, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise vulnerability management program across global technology environments.
• Manage vulnerability scanning platforms, assessment processes and reporting to maintain enterprise-wide visibility of exposures.
• Develop and improve risk-based vulnerability prioritization using threat intelligence and exploitability data.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application and business teams to drive timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for vulnerability management and related cybersecurity technologies.
• Support cloud security initiatives and threat management to improve enterprise resilience.
