Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is hiring a SCADA/EnMS engineer to lead installation and configuration of SCADA servers, clients, historians, and network infrastructure for power and large-scale utility systems.

You will design complete SCADA architectures, create graphics, alarms, events, reports and trends, and integrate IEDs, RTUs/PLCs, switches, and HMIs using IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, and OPC, with FAT/SAT testing and validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SCADA architecture development for power/utility projects.
• Experience with graphics, alarms, events, reports and trends in SCADA.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, and OPC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and configuration of SCADA servers, clients, historian, engineering workstations, and network switches.
• Develop complete SCADA architecture with graphics, alarms, events, reports, trends, SOE logs, and access levels.
• Configure and integrate IEDs, RTUs/PLCs, Ethernet switches, firewalls, HMIs and third-party devices with SCADA.
• Perform database creation, optimization, and backup/restore for SCADA projects.
• Demonstrate knowledge of IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, DNP3, Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC.
• Understand substation schemes, SLDs, system architecture, and interlock drawings.
• Prepare I/O lists, diagrams, network layouts, and cable schedules.
• Design LAN/WAN networks, cybersecurity layers, redundant servers, HMIs, and historian interfaces.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot SCADA systems; execute FAT and SAT.
