Job summary
Arup is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer within the Manila Energy Team to provide advisory and technical leadership on complex energy projects in the Philippines and wider Asia-Pacific. You will lead technical strategy, mentor staff, and collaborate with developers, utilities, regulators, and financiers to deliver high-value advisory services.
You will also contribute to proposals, cross-sell integrated capabilities, and support project mobilisation with the delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background across renewable energy technologies.
- Understanding of renewable energy systems and grid integration.
- Experience contributing to proposals and technical strategies.
- Familiarity with international projects and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
Responsibilities
- Lead advisory opportunities and provide technical leadership on projects.
- Prepare Independent Engineer/OE Engineer reports and bankability assessments.
- Perform technical due diligence for lenders, investors, and sponsors.
- Collaborate with developers, utilities, regulators and financiers to shape solutions.
