Job summary

GCash is seeking a QA Lead to govern the end-to-end QA for Business Analytics outputs, including ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data extracts. You will lead the QA team, define testing strategies, and ensure data quality and readiness for UAT and production.

You will collaborate with Data Analysts, DAISMs, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, establish acceptance criteria, and drive defect management and sign-offs.

• Strong collaboration with data analysts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA for Business Analytics outputs, ensuring adhoc extracts, reports, dashboards meet requirements before UAT/production.
• Establish and improve QA strategies, processes, governance standards for Business Analytics.
• Oversee creation, review, and approval of test cases, plans, QA checklists, and SQL-based validation approaches.
• Manage data quality validation and testing across BA outputs for completeness, accuracy, and logic integrity.
• Provide leadership to QA team by assigning work, monitoring progress, removing blockers, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Data Analysts, DAISMs, PMO, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Drive defect management including logging, triage, validation of fixes, retesting, and endorsement before production deployment.
• Maintain QA documentation and artifacts for auditability and future testing efficiency.
• Track and report QA metrics and performance indicators to management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for QA within BA, including automation opportunities.
• Support capability building of QA resources through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in leadership ceremonies to communicate QA progress and risks.
