Today, we are a profitable team of ~80, building the "Spotify of AI Music." But unlike Spotify, our users don’t just listen. they create. We are powering the next generation of musical expression for millions of users.

The Role

The Technical Conductor

We are looking for our Technical Anchor. You will not just be a senior contributor; you will be the Technical Leader for the entire platform team.

You will bridge the gap between deep-tech engineering and high-level strategy. You will decide how we scale from millions of requests to billions, how we route traffic across hybrid clouds, and how we maintain stability while shipping at breakneck speed. You will mentor brilliant engineers, set the architectural standards, and define the engineering culture of the company.

The Tech Stack (Your Orchestra)

We operate in a complex, high-performance hybrid environment. We need someone who understands the full vertical slice:

• Core Backend: Python (FastAPI) for heavy lifting & Node.js (NestJS/TypeScript) for business logic.
• AI Infrastructure: We run our own inference on Runpod, Vast.ai & AWS. You need to know how to orchestrate thousands of concurrent Serverless GPU tasks and manage cold starts.
• Audio Engineering: This is our physics. We use FFmpeg, Librosa, Matchering, and Essentia to process audio at the byte level.
• Cloud & Data: AWS (ECS Fargate, SQS), Redis (for massive task queues), and DynamoDB (for high-throughput writes).
• AI Orchestration: LangChain and RAG pipelines for prompt engineering and lyrics generation.

The Challenges You Will Solve

• Architecting for Scale: Re-engineer our job queues (Redis/SQS) to handle massive bursts of music generation without crashing the browser or the backend.
• Search & Recommendation: You will build complex hybrid Vector Search Systems so people find what they are looking for.
• Real-Time Latency: Optimize the "Time-to-Audio." Users shouldn’t wait. You will implement smart buffering and streaming strategies (HLS/Chunked Transfer) so users hear music instantly.
• Deep System Optimization: You will dive into memory leaks in ffmpeg, optimize Python asyncio event loops, and shave milliseconds off GPU inference times.
• Leadership: You will unblock junior engineers, manage technical debt, and make the hard "build vs. buy" decisions.
