Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Project Lead (Mechanical) for Data Center/Mixed Use Developments in Mumbai. You will oversee MPF design, installation, commissioning and compliance, leading cross-functional teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years in MPF engineering for data centers, with strong HVAC, plumbing, fire protection knowledge and BIM/coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of MPF engineering experience, focusing on Data Center/Mixed Use Developments.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing and fire protection knowledge for commercial environments.
• Familiarity with building codes and energy-efficient design practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead MPF design and installation activities for Data Center/Mixed Use Developments projects.
• Review MPF designs, drawings and specs to ensure client and code compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, RFIs and change orders.
• Develop and manage project schedules for MPF works.
• Perform cost analysis and budget management for MPF components.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss technical requirements and provide expert advice.
• Manage commissioning and testing of MEP systems.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project handover.
