Job summary

Taiyo Plastic Corporation of the Phils in Cavite seeks a process development engineer to lead PES staff and drive injection molding initiatives from concept to production.

You will conduct mold trials, sampling, and validation; review part designs for manufacturability; collaborate with customers and mold makers; analyze process capability and implement corrective actions; prepare technical reports; lead optimization of injection molding during development.

Qualifications

• Injection molding principles and materials (PP, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.)
• Mold design concepts and tooling construction
• Process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Measurement systems and basic metrology
• Quality tools (PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC)
• Methods engineering, Engineering analysis tools, TMS and Process experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mold trials, sampling and process validation;
• Review part designs for manufacturability;
• Collaborate with customers and mold makers during product development;
• Analyze process capability and implement corrective actions;
• Prepare and review technical reports and validation records;
• Lead optimization of injection molding process during development.
