Overview

Finance & Strategy Process Lead, Finance Shared Services (Manila)

FSS Finance & Strategy serves as a trusted partner of the Global Finance & Strategy team who guides C-level decisions and company-wide pivotal initiatives through insightful analyses and thought partnership. We are looking for a bright, driven individual who will succeed in a fast-paced environment and help us lead the F&S process migration and drive process standardization.

This role will serve and will be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert on the designated functional processes, globally, and will be directly reporting to F&S Sr. Manager. Continuous process improvement is an essential part of this role. We support our Global F&S business partners who deliver top-line key metric reporting and forecasting, as well as investor relations metrics.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and has the right blend of technical ability and business acumen to deliver key reports and business insights to leadership, including the CFO and C-Staff. You will be part of a growing team and will play a pivotal role in shaping how the team scales and delivers strategic analytics and decision support in a cross-functional organization across finance, sales, marketing, customer success, product, enterprise data and operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Project manager for FSS Transition for processes not limited to Annual planning, forecast, and close processes across the team.
  • Build out standard reporting packages for our business partners.
  • Prioritize process improvements & automation opportunities to streamline current processes.
  • Define objectives or Key Performance Indicators for an individual or a team and regularly assesses performance against those objectives and metrics and initiates actions for intervention when targets are not being met.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making by creating financial summaries and sharing information clearly through presentations
  • Perform core responsibilities around month-end financial close, forecasting, and preparation of management reports related to financial results
  • Regularly report findings and key metrics to leadership, including C-Staff, to help guide decision-making
  • Perform analysis, build decks and dashboards to generate insights using technical skills and business acumen.
  • Perform ad hoc data analyses to understand trends and underlying drivers
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on metrics definitions and analyses
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Data and Analytics team on technical requirements and analysis
  • Serve as functional manager to team members supporting the same business unit or function
  • Help ensure that all Service Level Agreement (SLAs) are met and delivered according to specified metrics.
Requirements
  • Has at least 6-8 years of professional work experience, with 3-5 years extensive knowledge within their functional area(s).
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS/BA in computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering or related degree required; Masters degree is a plus
  • Previous SaaS experience a plus
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and hunger to continually up-level current approaches and processes
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail - “get it done” attitude
  • Highly adept in Excel. Working knowledge of SQL, Netsuite, Salesforce, Adaptive, Hyperion, or other planning tools a plus

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
