Job summary

Mynt, the fintech behind GCash, invites seasoned finance professionals to join its Business & Strategic Planning and M&A teams in the Philippines. You will contribute to forecast development, investor relations, and corporate actions across portfolio companies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate finance, capital allocation, and valuation, with CFA/MBA/CPA preferred, and a strong track record in cross-functional collaboration and presenting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investor relations, M&A, valuation, financial planning, or transaction advisory (experience in Big 4 or investment banking a strong advantage).
• Solid understanding of capital structure, funding instruments, and financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
• CFA, MBA, or CPA candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance of rolling medium-term financial forecast with key stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing management presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as liaison of the CFO Office for financial and governance matters requiring Board, Excom, Audit Committee, and RPT review.
• Monitor financial health, capital requirements, and strategic alignment of portfolio companies and directly held entities.
• Review Board materials, strategic initiatives, and key financial developments across portfolio companies.
• Oversee significant financial and corporate actions, including capital infusions, restructures, dividends, and intercompany arrangements.
• Ensure major financial decisions across entities align with Group governance standards and capital allocation priorities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support valuations, investment assessments, and strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate transaction structures and support execution of investment, divestment, and strategic partnership activities.
• Support M&A processes, including financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Monitor post-transaction performance, including financial performance, operational metrics, and realization of synergies.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports in support of business, investment, and governance requirements.
