Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) is seeking a Lead Analyst for the FIG Research & Analysis team to perform end-to-end credit research and management for complex FI clients, including Banks and NBFIs.

You will collaborate with Relationship and Risk managers in a global team, prepare ARCMs, FMDNs and RGREs, ensure adherence to policies, and contribute insights to credit proposals while building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in FIG Research & Analysis with strong credit analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail, governance, and process discipline.
• Sound risk awareness and judgement, including the ability to identify and appropriately elevate issues.
• Excellent communication and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality Annual Review Credit Memorandums (ARCM) for FI clients (Banks and NBFIs).
• Prepare Financial Monitoring Diary Notes (FMDN), Risk Grade Review Events (RGREs) and other industry-specific analysis.
• Adhere to internal group policies, procedures and processes.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business (RM's and R&A Associates) and Risk Executives to ensure risks are properly recognized and mitigated in credit proposals.
• Participate in risk management forums and provide insightful updates to the forum about the portfolio and industry.
• Demonstrate proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Engage in all other credit management activities as identified by the team.
