Job summary

UPTC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead enterprise-grade infrastructure design across compute, storage, networking, databases, and cloud integration. You will independently manage timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, leadership capabilities, and deep expertise in Windows/Linux, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, and database infrastructure, with a strong focus on security and high availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience as Infrastructure Architect.
Solid experience in leading a team and self-managing large-scale infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation.

Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure design for enterprise-grade systems, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and cloud integration (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Collaborate with business and IT leaders to develop long-term infrastructure roadmaps aligned with digital transformation initiatives
Act as the lead architect on infrastructure-related projects—independently managing timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination
Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, blueprints, and best practices across the organization
Identify opportunities for system consolidation, automation (IaC), and migration to cloud/hybrid models
Evaluate technologies and vendors; lead RFP/RFQ reviews and technical assessments
Ensure infrastructure design aligns with internal IT security policies and international standards (ISO, NIST, etc.)
Guide junior architects or engineers where applicable, acting as a technical SME within the organization
