Job summary

Concepcion Business Services, Inc. invites applications for an Installation Foreman to lead elevator and escalator installations.

You will personally install components while guiding the crew at the workface, ensuring work aligns with drawings, procedures, and safety standards. The role requires 6–10 years of hands-on installation experience, ability to coach installers, plan daily work, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and report progress to the Installation Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Reading approved drawings and procedures.
• Use installation and measuring tools.
• Coach installers and report progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install alongside the crew and perform mechanical (and electrical when qualified) tasks.
• Lead installation by setting sequence and guiding the crew.
• Check readiness: area, permits, materials, tools, safety controls.
• Deliver quality: verify dimensions, alignment, assembly, and workmanship.
• Prepare for next stage: inspections, punch-list, turnover support.
• Control materials and tools: inspect parts, report shortages or defects.
• Plan and assign daily work with the Project Engineer and supervisor.
• Provide crew oversight: monitor attendance, productivity, and workmanship.
• Maintain safety oversight: toolbox talks, permits, safe practices, hazard reporting.
• Coordinate site interfaces with engineers and general contractor; escalate issues.
• Report progress: update on manpower, finished work, delays, and incidents.
