This pivotal role involves orchestrating critical activities across Probe Test, Assembly Build, Qualification Test, and Final Test, ensuring seamless coordination between AMPI and AML (Allegro MicroSystems, LLC) teams. You will be instrumental in driving the timely completion of engineering and production tasks, facilitating efficient product release to market, and optimizing our operational processes.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with AMPI Engineering and Planning, as well as AML Engineering and Product Managers (PMs), to coordinate Probe Test, Assembly build, Qualification Test, and Final Test activities at AMPI based on provided priorities.
- Originating Assembly Engineering Request Forms (ERFs) and Test ERFs as appropriate.
- Collaborate with AMPI Probe Planning to coordinate the processing of probe engineering materials at AMPI, ensuring all necessary information is provided before launching wafers into Probe Work-In-Process (WIP).
- Coordinate with the AMPI Qualification and Reliability Group and Planning to manage the processing of qualification materials.
- Coordinate with the AMPI Planner on engineering assembly builds and the movement of final test material to Sample Stock to support Release to Manufacturing (RTM).
- Ensure timely completion of approvals requiring AMPI personnel, including but not limited to Probe & Final Test Product Transfer Checklists (PTCs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) processed through the ETQ document control system.
- Submit lot termination requests and track lot ownership as needed.
- Create links to deliverables for items completed in AMPI, such as Probe and Final Test PTCs and qualification plans.
- Participate in and support high-level planning for top-priority projects of AML PMs, interfacing with U.S. counterparts on project management activities.
- Develop and recommend solutions to improve processes for timely product release to market and/or production.
- Utilize SharePoint, Apollo, Phoenix, and other project management tools to perform tasks.
Who You Are
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, coupled with 3-5 years of industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management, Planning, Product Development, Probe Test, Final Test, and Qualification and Reliability processes.
