Job summary

UCPB Savings Bank, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator Supervisor to oversee the Database Administration Unit, ensuring production databases are governed end-to-end and compliant with backup and security standards.

You will formulate database standards, tune complex instances, and plan storage while serving as the 2nd-level validation gate and on-call escalation for high-availability replication and schema updates across core and electronic channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of solid work experience as a Database Administrator in an enterprise environment.
• Must be available for 24/7 on-call escalation and manage a team operating on shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Database Administration Unit with end-to-end governance over production databases.
• Formulate technical database standards and tune complex database instances.
• Plan storage allocations and verify 100% compliance with backup retention and security rules.
• Act as the 2nd-level technical validation gate and on-call escalation point for DB staging, replication, and schema updates across core and electronic channel infrastructure.
