Job summary

PMI is seeking a Manager Data Science to lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics and ML solutions that address complex business challenges. You will translate data into actionable insights and guide a team of data scientists across projects.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and stay abreast of AI advancements to drive innovation, with opportunities to shape data-driven strategies across the business.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in data science or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, machine learning frameworks, and relational databases.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, forecasting, natural language processing, and advanced statistical modeling.
• Experience deploying or productionizing artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services, including tools such as S3, EC2, and SageMaker.
• Experience with big data technologies, Jupyter, Snowflake, Docker, and open-source data science tools and libraries.
• Familiarity with version control and project management tools, including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply mathematics, statistics, data mining, and predictive and prescriptive modeling techniques to generate meaningful insights from data.
• Develop and implement data science and machine learning models using specialized programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data-driven strategies and solutions.
• Mentor associate and regular data scientists, providing technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Monitor emerging developments in artificial intelligence and data science to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
• Communicate complex findings to stakeholders through clear reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
