YOUR IMPACT

OpenText is searching for a dynamic Technical Business Analyst to represent our Financial Services organization in exciting client interactions. You'll lead customer initiatives for the innovative OpenText Financial Hub Platform and help tailor custom solutions that align with operational standards.Engage with clients to ensure we meet their technology needs while guiding support and operations teams to achieve our goals. Additionally, support our sales efforts to secure new deals and drive business growth. Join us in transforming the financial services landscape!

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • The Technical Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for understanding system features to assess and meet clients' business requirements. This includes designing user experiences, recommending operational workflows, and identifying necessary data collection methods.
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of financial services, particularly cash management, securities, and payments, as well as familiarity with payment messaging systems like EDI, EFT, ACH, SWIFT, and FED. Experience can come from positions in financial services, vendor roles, or corporate treasury offices.
  • The BA will review and update requirements and specifications, create business process review documents, and define interfaces within subsystems.
  • This role is vital throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that client needs are met. The BA will bridge the gap between clients, development teams, and support, remaining involved after go-live for onboarding, training, and support.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience in financial services, corporate treasury, or technology organizations.
  • Experience with trade and post-trade processes for equities, fixed income, ETFs, and fund orders. Proficient in FIX and SWIFT ISO20022 standards.
  • Knowledge and experience in payment messaging for corporate and banking sectors, with specific expertise in at least two of EDI, EFT, ACH, SWIFT, or FED, as well as familiarity with ISO20022 formats for payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and streamline complex processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing client relationships or leading client-facing implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
