AboitizPower is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Lead to act as the strategic technical authority for enterprise data infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will drive platform modernization, governance, and FinOps while guiding IT/OT convergence and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable multi-cloud infrastructure with Terraform, enhancing data platforms, and enforcing security and ISO standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in multi-cloud infrastructure and data platform engineering.
• Experience with Terraform IaC deployments and legacy migrations.
• Proven FinOps leadership and cost governance skills.
• Professional-level cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable multi-cloud architecture and standardize deployments with Terraform.
• Architect platform enhancements and catalog enterprise data systems.
• Establish cloud FinOps governance and cost forecasting.
• Define cross-cloud IAM controls and ensure ISO-aligned security.
• Mentor IT/OT teams and provide Tier-3 support for engineering.

As Cloud Architect Lead, you will actas the strategic technical authority for enterprise data infrastructure spanning multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). This position leads platform enhancements for core tools (Snowflake, MS Fabric, Open Metadata), enforces enterprise security and governance controls, implements robust FinOps cost governance strategies, and drives IT/OT convergence across the digital landscape and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with various teams to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Multi-Cloud Architecture & IaC: Design scalable, resilient multi-cloud infrastructure and standardize deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Platform Enhancement & Modernization: Architect continuous improvements, cataloging systems, and POCs across enterprise data platforms.
• Cloud FinOps & Governance: Establish resource lifecycle management, execute ad hoc rightsizing, and manage cost forecasting to maximize ROI on cloud investments.
• Security & Asset Protection: Define cross-cloud IAM controls, safeguard enterprise information assets, and ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, OHSAS 18001).
• IT/OT Convergence & Mentorship: Facilitate integration between IT and Operational Technology (OT) networks while providing frontline guidance and Tier-3 support to engineering teams.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Professional-level certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in multi-cloud infrastructure, data platform engineering, legacy migrations, Terraform IaC deployment, and FinOps leadership.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Expert-level mastery in Multi-Cloud Strategy and FinOps; Advanced proficiency in Data Platform Integration, IaC, Cloud Security/IAM, Networking/Compute, and Python Scripting.
