Job summary

Pointwest Innovations Corp. is looking for a Lead Business Analyst (Data Engineering) to bridge business needs and modern data platforms. You will lead cross-functional technology teams, translate business visions into data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and analytics ecosystems.

You will mentor analysts, define STTM, data lineage, and star-schema models, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality data solutions while advancing governance and data SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or modern analytics environments.
• Core Skills: Expert-level SQL, deep understanding of ETL/ELT lifecycles, STTM, and dimensional data modeling (star schema).
• Tech Exposure: Familiarity with AWS data services (Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena) and modern data architectures.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication abilities with a track record of guiding Agile teams.
• Evaluation: Demonstrate expertise through a practical SQL/data analysis assessment and technical interview.
