Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the on-site team in the Philippines (Metro Manila). The role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and improving team and department performance through data-driven insights and operational studies.

You will design KPIs/OKRs, build dashboards in BI tools, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Agile methods. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Operations or frontline Operations.
• 5+ years using Google Sheets and/or Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• 2+ years reporting to and presenting to senior management.
• 3+ years leading and managing a team.
• 2+ years using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• 2+ years in project management.
• 2+ years in process mapping using Lucidchart or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and track the performance of the team, aligning data requirements for tracking performance, setting clear performance expectations and accountability across the team members.
• Design, track, and maintain Department KPIs, OKRs, and performance scorecards.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and business insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Map, document, and continuously improve business processes using Lucidchart.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean Methodology principles to identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows.
• Use Agile methodology to manage improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Manage end-to-end projects related to performance improvement, from planning through execution and evaluation.

The Senior Business Analyst is assigned to a department with a strong focus on performance management. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving team and department performance through data-driven insights, conducting operational studies, and designing strategies that drive measurable gains in productivity, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong operations leadership experience with analytical rigor, process improvement expertise, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and track the performance of the team, aligning data requirements for tracking performance, setting clear performance expectations and accountability across the team members.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to close performance gaps together with the Operation's Coordinator.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team by providing data insights and working with the Operation's Coordinator to identify business context.

Performance Management & Reporting

• Design, track, and maintain Department KPIs, OKRs, and performance scorecards.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and business insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards and trackers using Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Conduct time-and-motion, root-cause, and performance studies to identify gaps and opportunities.

Process Improvement & Strategy

• Develop and implement strategies and action plans to improve team and department performance.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean Methodology principles to identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows.
• Map, document, and continuously improve business processes using Lucidchart.
• Use Agile methodology to manage improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Manage end-to-end projects related to performance improvement, from planning through execution and evaluation.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to align on performance goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Operations or face-to-face/frontline Operations.
• 5+ years of experience using Google Sheets and/or Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience reporting to and presenting to senior management.
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
• 2+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• 2+ years of experience in process mapping using Lucidchar or something similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge & Certifications

• Strong knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective Key Results (OKRs).
• Solid understanding of Performance Management principles and Department KPI tracking.
• Lean Six Sigma Certified (Yellow Belt / Green Belt or higher preferred).
• Working knowledge of Lean Methodology and Agile Methodology.
• Background or knowledge in Industrial Engineering and Process Improvement.
