Job summary

Daiichi Properties Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to support the Building Manager in operating a high-rise property.

You will supervise technical staff, security, and housekeeping to ensure safety and functionality, with emphasis on weekends and off-peak hours. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 3+ years in facilities or property management for high-rise settings, and be comfortable traveling between cities in the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer preferred with 3+ years in facilities/property management for high-rise settings.
• Willingness to travel between multiple cities within the managed portfolio.
• Technical familiarity with HVAC, Generators, Elevators, and Fire Protection systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated operations supervising technicians, security, and housekeeping to ensure safety and functionality.
• Manage manpower, especially weekends, to maintain continuous building operations.
• Oversee service standards via routine inspections of cleanliness, safety, and security.
• Act as first responder for incidents and guide initial recovery strategies during weekends/off-peak hours.
• Oversee 52-week preventive maintenance schedule for elevators, HVAC, gensets, and fire alarm system.
