Job summary

Kinguin is seeking a Lead Engineer to build and optimize AI agent tooling and agentic workflows across our software platforms. You will evaluate AI models, ensure secure AI-generated code, and drive adoption across engineering teams while mentoring peers and shaping development practices.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering, strong Go, Python, and TypeScript skills, and experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with large codebases.
• At least 1 year of daily hands-on experience using AI coding agents from multiple vendors.
• Proven experience building AI agent tooling adopted by other engineers.
• Strong understanding of agentic workflows, context management, and tool integration.
• Proficient in Go, Python, and TypeScript; familiar with Git, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI agent tooling, harnesses, integrations, sandboxes, and evaluation frameworks.
• Design and optimize agentic workflows for planning, coding, testing, and documentation with human oversight.
• Evaluate AI models and coding agents to identify effective solutions for engineering tasks.
• Implement security and quality controls for auditable AI-generated code.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering teams via training and demonstrations.
• Continuously improve development workflows by experimenting with new AI technologies.
