Job summary

Marsh Risk is seeking a seasoned Administrative Assistant for our Global Capability Center in Ciudad de Mexico. This hybrid role requires three days per week in the office and 2-3 years of leadership-level administrative support.

You will mentor junior staff, manage confidential documents, and coordinate high-level communications with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English (C1) is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in high-level administrative support, in a leadership or coordinator role.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform quality control on documents and correspondence.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or supervising junior administrative staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in office software and administrative tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management systems).
  • Advanced level of English C1.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors continuity of administrative work operations by discovering irregularities and communicating recommendations to management, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Resolves administrative problems by analyzing information and identifying and communicating solutions to enhance performance.
  • Provides high level secretarial and administrative support, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Provides training and mentoring and evaluates performance of lower-level administrative staff in the department to facilitate employee development and achievement of their personal goals.
  • Provides peer review of documents before final production/distribution to ensure quality control of final product.
  • Handles higher level internal and external inquiries to support high level of customer satisfaction and communication.
  • Undertakes complex administrative duties with specific projects as required.
