Job Description

Job Objective

The Production Clerk is responsible for ensuring correct data and reporting for Layer Operations by effectively consolidating and encoding production data. He or she also has to ensure that the established systems and processes are followed.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • DATA MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
    • Accurately compile, encode, and report daily production data, poultry mortality, or movements.
    • Update, maintain, and report the inventory of veterinary supplies (medicines/vaccines), feeds, and other supplies, as well as its delivery and usage.
    • Works with Warehouse and Maintenance on Inventory Reports.
  • SYSTEMS & PROCESSES
    • Assists in ensuring that the Egg Grading-Packing Plant & Layer Farm rules and policies for systems and processes, as well as External Interested Parties (e.g., customer and legal requirements), are implemented and kept current.
    • Monitors and ensures the necessary documents for the effective operation of the specified food safety and quality systems and processes.
    • Assists Team Leader in promoting changes to existing Food Safety and Quality systems and processes to other teams.
    • Participate in the process, food safety, and quality audits on various company processes.
    • Ensures that departmental issues with Food Safety systems and processes are resolved efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
    • Ensures that the food safety and quality systems and processes are implemented properly in the operations.
    • Monitor pest control status and assist in implementing corrective steps.
    • Acts as the team\'s document controller.
  • GENERAL
    • Prepares Farm Purchase Requisitions (PR) for medicines, vaccinations, and supplies, among other items, as directed by Farm Supervisors, Farm Veterinarians, and Farm Managers.
    • Manages the farm\'s feed request and delivery schedule.
    • Ensures an accurate weekly inventory count.
    • Ensures the proper care and handling of farm supplies, including but not limited to:
      • Ensures vaccines are in the refrigerator within one hour of receipt.
      • Implement FIFO method in the storage of goods.
      • Monitor supplies and drugs expiration dates
    • Coordination with Farm Driver to ensure timely pickup of medicine and other stocks from the feedmill per Warehouse instructions.
  • FOOD SAFETY
    • Comply with the company\'s quality, Halal, health, and food safety policies, standards, and regulations.
    • Responsible for reporting Halal, food safety, and quality management system issues to the appropriate authorities.
  • OTHER TASKS
    • Actively participate in all company initiatives and activities related to quality improvement, safety and security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management, and so on.
    • Performs other job-related responsibilities as given by the immediate superior.
Qualifications

Education

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any Science and Technology course.

Experience

  • Experience in related work is preferred but not necessary.
