Job Description

• A Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that laundry services are carried out in a clean, efficient, and organized manner. They manage the washing, drying, folding, and storing of linen, uniforms, towels, and other laundry materials in a hospitality setting (such as hotels, resorts, or hospitals) or within commercial laundry services.
• Laundry Operation: Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment, ensuring that they are used safely and correctly.
• Sorting: Sort laundry items by type, color, and fabric to ensure appropriate washing and drying methods.
• Cleaning: Ensure that linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry are cleaned thoroughly and in accordance with company policies.
• Folding & Storing: Fold, hang, and organize clean laundry before storing it in designated areas or delivering it to clients or departments.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of laundry equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of laundry supplies (detergents, fabric softeners, etc.) and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
• Customer Service: In hospitality settings, laundry attendants may interact with guests to fulfill special laundry requests.
• Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including the handling of chemicals, and ensure proper storage of clean and dirty laundry.

Qualifications
