Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry tasks: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linens. May include operating washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and free of safety hazards. This includes cleaning equipment and ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed. (This may apply to laundry helpers working in laundromats or dry cleaning services with customer interaction.)

• Physical stamina: Able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy laundry baskets, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail: Carefully sort laundry, follow instructions on garment care labels, and ensure items are properly cleaned and folded.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Efficiently manage tasks and meet deadlines, especially during peak hours.
