• Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Keep the laundry area, equipment, and customer waiting areas clean and tidy.
• Ironing and folding laundry: Perform finishing touches on customer garments, such as ironing and folding clothes.
• Inventory management: Assist with inventory of laundry supplies, such as detergents, fabric softeners, and other cleaning agents.
• Cash handling and record-keeping: Accurately process customer payments, maintain sales records, and balance the cash register.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry laundry baskets, and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Attention to detail: Ability to carefully handle and sort delicate fabrics, identify stains and potential damage, and ensure all laundry is processed correctly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, clearly communicate instructions, and resolve any customer concerns.
