Job summary

SmoothX in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer to join our engineering team onsite. Design, build, and maintain backend apps with Laravel, create RESTful APIs, and integrate with third-party systems to deliver scalable software.

You will collaborate with product managers and international teams, focus on performance, reliability, and clean, tested code, and participate in code reviews. This is an onsite role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience developing apps with Laravel (PHP).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, and integration development.
• Experience with database design, architecture, and query optimization.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
