The role requires expertise with surveying instruments and GIS concepts, plus the ability to interpret technical drawings and comply with regulations. Outdoor work and travel to sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional license or certification as a Land Surveyor (depending on jurisdiction).
• Proven experience in land surveying, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to establish property boundaries, topography, and land features.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones.
• Prepare and verify survey data, maps, and reports for engineering and construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate site planning.
• Research historical maps, deeds, and legal documents to verify property boundaries.
