• Cleaning and preparing construction sites
• Assisting skilled workers (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers, welders)
• Moving materials and equipment around the site
• Performing manual labor tasks (e.g., lifting, carrying)
• Maintaining an organized work environment/ 5S in the workplace
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding
• Remove, fill, or compact earth
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Perform site clean-up
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, pouring and leveling concrete, and building temporary structures like scaffolding
• Reading basic plans and following instructions from supervisors and experienced construction workers
• Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Set up and remove traffic control devices, cones, and signage to direct traffic safely around work areas
• Demolitions-specific or demolition-related duties where applicable

Qualifications

• At least a High School graduate (or equivalent)
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites preferred but training can be provided
• Willing to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
• Safety awareness and ability to follow safety protocols
• Ability to work at various project sites and adapt to weather and site conditions
