Job summary

Littelfuse Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting from schematics and plans.

You will assist engineers in designing, modifying, and testing products and processes, and conduct tests while collecting data to ensure performance aligns with specifications. The role requires an associate degree or two-year technical/trade degree, 1–2 years of experience, basic MS Office knowledge, and strong communication and technical skills.

Laboratory Technician

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Supports engineering activities.

• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. (70%)
• Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes. (10%)
• Conducts tests and collects data. (10%)
• Complies with all established procedures to ensure safety, equipment and accuracy of results. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned.

About the job:
