Responsibilities

• Daily care and maintenance of laboratory animals, including feeding, watering, and sanitation of animal housing facilities.
• Monitoring animal health and reporting any signs of illness or distress to senior staff.
• Maintaining detailed records of animal populations, housing assignments, and health observations.
• Assisting in the preparation of animals for procedures and studies under the supervision of veterinary and research staff.
• Performing routine cleaning and disinfection of cages, equipment, and facility areas according to established protocols.
• Assisting with inventory management of animal feed, bedding, and supplies.
• Supporting compliance with animal care regulations and institutional guidelines.
