Job summary

Alteo Engineering Consultancy Services in the Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials, under supervision.

You will collect samples per project specs, perform basic lab procedures, maintain a clean, safe work environment in field and lab, and comply with health, safety, environmental, and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a laboratory environment.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting laboratory and field tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Help collect samples in accordance with project specifications and standard procedures.
• Assist in performing basic laboratory procedures under the supervision of authorized laboratory personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in both field and laboratory settings.
• Comply with all occupational health, safety, environmental, and company policies at all times.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Laboratory Director or immediate supervisor.
