Responsibilities
Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Interpret and document test results, ensuring accurate reporting of findings.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Ensure all laboratory tests meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant standards.
Identify deviations from established procedures and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain and enforce high standards of quality assurance throughout the testing process.
Conduct tests related to packaging materials (e.g., stability, compatibility, and physical integrity tests).
Perform validation of manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and product integrity, particularly in packaging lines.
Monitor packaging processes to ensure that finished products are packaged to specifications, ensuring safety, labeling, and quality.
Maintain detailed records of all laboratory analyses and test results in compliance with quality assurance standards.
Contribute to documentation related to product specifications, batch records, and test protocols.
