Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Interpret and document test results, ensuring accurate reporting of findings.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure all laboratory tests meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant standards.
• Identify deviations from established procedures and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of quality assurance throughout the testing process.
• Conduct tests related to packaging materials (e.g., stability, compatibility, and physical integrity tests).
• Perform validation of manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and product integrity, particularly in packaging lines.
• Monitor packaging processes to ensure that finished products are packaged to specifications, ensuring safety, labeling, and quality.
• Maintain detailed records of all laboratory analyses and test results in compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Contribute to documentation related to product specifications, batch records, and test protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with packaging materials and manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging integrity testing and manufacturing process validation.
