Job summary

The PTC Lab Technician position in a semiconductor lab involves calibration and preventive maintenance of ATE and temperature-forcing systems in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with IS, Network, and vendors to ensure equipment readiness and reliability.

Strong communication, documentation, and on-site technical skills are essential. Experience with ATE equipment (Teradyne J750, ETS300/88, DiamondX/D10, Maverick, Magnum, SPEA DOT800, Thermojet) and a solid understanding of

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with ATE and electronics lab equipment.
Calibrations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair practices.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems, hardware, software installation, IP addressing, and network connectivity.
Ability to follow controlled procedures and communicate with engineers, IS teams, and vendors.
Onsite work in an ESD-controlled semiconductor lab.

Responsibilities

Setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of ATE and temperature-forcing systems.
Monitor and coordinate maintenance of compressors and related equipment.
Provide first-line assessment of tester-host, peripherals, software interfaces, connectivity, and access issues.
Coordinate with IS, Network, Cybersecurity, and vendor groups; track issues through restoration.
Support tester library, operator interface, software versions, recovery media, and configuration checks.
Handle shipment of tools and boards, including packing and shipping documents.
Maintain inventories of hardware, tooling, spare parts, and lab 5S.
Follow lab safety, ESD, and cybersecurity requirements.
