Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy and support enterprise network security across Palo Alto Networks technologies, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and security consultancy.

This fully remote role within the Philippines offers exposure to global enterprise environments, pre-sales collaboration, and mentorship to junior engineers, covering Professional Services and Managed Services. PCNSE certification desirable.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering, ideally within MSPs or enterprise services.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks technologies and related security services.
• Experience designing, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting enterprise firewall environments.
• Knowledge of SASE/SSE architectures and Zero Trust.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and project delivery skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, configure, and migrate enterprise network security solutions using Palo Alto technologies.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point (L4) for firewall and connectivity incidents.
• Implement and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and related services.
• Support Aruba networking tech including SD-WAN, switching, and wireless.
• Lead troubleshooting, RCA, and resolution of critical network security incidents.
• Provide security architecture consultancy and guidance on Zero Trust and SASE.
• Deliver network security projects, including migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Managed Services for project delivery and handovers.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

A newly created opportunity exists for a Senior Network Engineer to support complex enterprise customer environments, due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will deliver technical project work, advanced troubleshooting, and security consultancy across Professional Services, Managed Services, and solution design, acting as a senior technical escalation point for the deployment, optimisation, and ongoing management of network security infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and migrate enterprise network security solutions, primarily across Palo Alto Networks technologies.
• Act as a senior technical escalation point (L4) for complex firewall, network security, and connectivity incidents.
• Implement and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and associated security services.
• Support enterprise networking environments incorporating Aruba switching, wireless, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution of critical network security incidents.
• Provide technical consultancy to enterprise customers on security architecture, firewall optimisation, Zero Trust, and SASE/SSE solutions.
• Deliver network security projects, including firewall migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational handovers.
• Participate in customer technical reviews, solution scoping, and pre-sales discussions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.

Skills/Must Have:

• 7+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering, ideally within an MSP, Systems Integrator, or enterprise services environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks, including PA-Series firewalls, PAN-OS, Panorama, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and WildFire.
• Experience designing, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting enterprise firewall environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, VPNs, and network security protocols.
• Experience working with Aruba networking technologies, including Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SASE/SSE architectures, Zero Trust principles, firewall policy management, and security best practices.
• Proven experience handling complex technical escalations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to engage technical stakeholders and senior customer representatives.
• Experience contributing to technical solution design, project delivery, and pre-sales activities.
• Palo Alto PCNSE certification or equivalent practical expertise is highly desirable.
