Job summary

Kumon Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Center Assistant at Kumon Marcelo Green Village Center to support students in Math and Reading using Kumon methods. You will help plan worksheets, track progress, and assist the Chief Instructor in daily tasks.

The role requires organizing skills, good communication, and a customer-oriented attitude to work with both children and adults in a learning center environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in education or related field.
• Strong English skills are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Good communication with children and adults alike.
• Willing to assist students in reading using provided materials.
• Well-organized with self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in basic and advanced Math and Reading.
• Communicate students’ progress, level attainment, and behavior.
• Check worksheets and record relevant information.
• Plan worksheets and set goals for students.
• Assist the Chief Instructor with daily tasks.

A Kumon Center Assistant is responsible for facilitating the learning and development of Kumon students by ensuring that the right instructional method and center practices are implemented.

Work location is at Kumon Marcelo Green Village Center.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in instructing students in basic and/or high level Math and Reading.
• Communicates students’ study progress, level attainment, and behavior
• Checks students’ worksheets and records pertinent information in the record book
• Plans students’ assigned worksheets and plots goals for them
• Assists the Chief Instructor in executing daily tasks

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a degree in education or any relevant field.
• Having strong skills in English is a definite advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in any related field.
• Can communicate well with children and adults alike
• Willing to assist students in basic and high level Reading with materials provided by the center.
• Well-organized and has self-discipline
